Did you know Shrek was modeled after this man, Maurice Tillet? He was born in 1903, and as a teenager he manifested a rare disease called acromegaly, which caused his bones to grow uncontrollably. As result his body was disfigured, and he turned into what people back then referred to as “freak show.” He was actually a very intelligent person; a poet and writer who could speak 14 languages.

there is literally nothing better than when you’re at a show and the band has been setting up for forever and then all of a sudden you know they’re coming and t hey walk out on stage and get their instruments and suddenly everything is HAPPENING and you’re body slammed by all of your feels and then they just like rip into your favorite song and you spontaneously start sobbing because at that moment there is absolutely nothing wrong with the world
